Yorkshire Championship Re-entry option removed.

Following feedback from several players the committee have decided to remove the option of a possible re-entry for those players who fail to qualify from the first qualifying day.

The option was originally considered as a way of boosting the prize money in what is our most prestigious event, but several players have expressed concerns that any player who loses a match should not then have a chance to re-enter and potentially go on and win the event.

After considering the feedback, the committee have decided to withdraw the option and the rules have been amended accordingly. As a result of the change any player who wishes to withdraw or change the day they have originally chosen can of course do so.

Entries and fees for the first qualifying day on Sunday March 27th should be submitted by midnight on Monday 21st March.
