Following the AGM on 5th September we are now in a position to sketch out what the new YBSA season will look like. Following the disruption of the last couple of years we are on track to return to “normal” timescales for the competitions and Inter District League.

Dan Womersley and Sanderson Lam claim Yorkshire Pairs Title
The two semi-finals in this season’s Yorkshire Pairs competition proved to be tight low scoring affairs with the only break of note being a run of 82 by Liam Pullen in a 4-1 victory by himself and Tony Massey over Hayden Staniland and Shaun Wilkes.

Yorkshire Handicap Qualifier 2 – Results
A field of 34 players contested the second Yorkshire Handicap qualifier at Halifax Snooker Centre with 8 spots in the last 16 up for grabs. The players were split into 6 groups of 4 and 2 groups of 5 with just the group winners going through to the next stage.

Due to several clashes and failed rearrangements we are very sorry to announce that this seasons U21 Snooker event will now be cancelled.

The first Yorkshire Handicap Qualifier attracted 30 entries which were split into 6 groups of 5, all vying for one of the available 8 qualifying spots. This meant the 6 group winners would progress plus the 2 best runners up.
